Toured up to Gash point with hopes of skiing Sky Pilot. We observed D1-D2.5 wet slides from last week’s warm period. These happened both before and after the fresh snow fell on 3/24. Multiple ran full length on both N and S facing slopes. Dug a pit on a N facing aspect at 8700ft. ECTP2, propagation of 20cm of dry snow from 3/24 storm on top of previous freeze/thaw surface. Ice layers were present 20cm and 30cm beneath the surface. All snow beneath 30cm looked consolidated and uniform. We turned around at the top of Gash due to propagation during ECT
