Quick report
With new snow and intense solar radiation, there were a few roller balls observed on steep south-facing slopes. The exposed terrain facing NW-N had been scoured by the wind, but we didn't find the presence of wind slabs on lee aspects. Our snowpack begins to increase in depth rapidly above 7,000'. Our group also dug a snowpit at 7,400' on a NW aspect and found 120cm or 4' of snow at that location. Similar results in their snowpit to the one I dug up higher.

Snowpack
I dug a snowpit on a NW aspect at 7700' and found 160cm or nearly 5.5' of snow. There was 25cm or 10" of new snow that had fallen Sunday into Monday above 7,000'. I found good stability in my snowpack tests, with the only failures occurring at the new snow/old snow interface. My results were not concerning, as there was no presence of a slab. Beneath the new snow, there are a couple of layers of faceted snow, but without a prominent bed surface and slab at this time were not overly concerning. I will continue to monitor these layers, as any facet should be guilty until proven innocent.
