Quick report
We observed variable conditions ranging from a firm crust to soft snow, sinking ~4 inches on our boots. It was around 11:30 am when we were on our descent back to the car (SSE aspect). Our first two turns on steep terrain caused roller balls which continued to pick up more snow. We continued descending but one in our party attempted to traverse below the slough which had picked up a considerable amount of snow and it swept him off his skis. He was carried for ~50 feet before he could ski out.
