Avalanche Information

Over confident in moderate rating in the alpine, even though snow was variable at best. Conscious and cautious of convex features. Sluff developed behind me, gained mass, stepped down in a small lee loaded pocket, sluff and slab debris caught up to me near the bottom. Saw the slab chunks at my feet moving slowly, pulled the JetForce not knowing if more was coming, Did not need it in the end, just covered my boots. No injury. Take away,; loose dry avalanches move easily and can step down and become more serious. A skier triggered sluff near the summit on a similar aspect was noticed afterwards.
