Weather

X and heavy snow all day, Light winds MWW and down, Mod winds at ridge, Temps in lower teens, 10" new snow 7 am to 3 pm, still snowing s2+

Snowpack

Storm slabs extremely sensitive to ski cuts and remote triggers, up to 14" deep and propagating up to 200' wide. Running far and fast. Nothing breaking into old snow so far despite 3" H2O in the last 36 hours.

Avalanche

Very sensitive storm slabs on all LWW and MWW routes, up to d1.5 in size, mostly from ski cuts. Air blast in two chutes right to test basal layers produced a large storm slab on the old snow interface after the new storm slab released on a ski cut.
