I intentionally remotely triggered this avalanche while skinning up a sub-ridge in terrain adjacent to where T&A Conover reported their avalanche. This avalanche failed near the bottom of the Jan/Feb drought layer of 1mm facets above a decomposing crust that's capping older faceted snow from late Dec/early Jan. ECTP22 SP about 2' down in some lower angle hang fire. V sluggish to get going but had a bit of punch to it.
