- <p>Unlikely but maybe on isolated or outlying slopes. Found a weak layer consisting of graupel and small near surface facets <2mm, 1 to 1.5 feet below surface....</p> <p>Highest elevation north facing slopes may have a thin layer of facets on ground, but most terrain in the Logan Zone was snow free before the 11/14 storm.</p>
Nice shallow settled powder and mashed potato surface. Riding and skiing in the top couple inches due to 1/26 rime...warmth crust. What you see is what you get, with very little fear of hitting rocks.
