Dug a pit on the NW aspect of guardmans in the area known as promised land. Was snowing heavily with calm winds in the area of the pit. Snowpack was 85cm deep. The first 60cm or so was fist density with 4 finger below that. The bottom 15-20 cm was sugar snow indicating the the pwl is still present in protected areas. Performed a CT and received a result of CT3 breaking on the new snow that had fallen about 20 cm down. The slab that broke off was a fairly a consolidated slab. This in my opinion confirms the rating of high yesterday.
