Quick lap on Wolverine. Throughout the day, S1-S2 snowfall, with surprisingly calm winds in the valley. Ridgeline winds variable, with light to moderate Gusts out of the SW. Very poor vis above treeline. At the Prospect heights parking lot in the AM, around 15cms of new, increasing to about 30cms by the Wolverine trail junction. In the alpine, widespread transport had already scoured ridges to tundra, with some drifts knee deep. Cracking was limited in lee terrain, with the WS problem continuing to develop. Low vis and low density snow on a thin base made for challenging conditions.
