We set out with a low expectation but oh no need for a frustration the mountain was kind it even blew the mind with powder and views galore. Some cross loading on the standard winter route up McGinnis. Some avalanches around the recent freezing line on Grandchild's peak. Similar slide above nugget creek area, on the Heintzleman side.

Snowpack
Varied from rime, melt-freeze crust, and powder. Dug around 1pm, ~3500 ft, WNW Aspect, Apx. 32 degree slope. Snowpack 325cms. Pit 65cms. ETCN12 @ 15cms from surface.
