Quick report
In this area, there's about 3" to 4" of settled storm snow that got moist to wet on sunnier aspects, which shed from a few steep, rocky slopes starting this afternoon. The crusts below the recent storm snow remained strong and intact on east-facing and west-facing terrain where we looked (above 9800'). This afternoon, on a southeast slope at 9,600', crusts in the upper snowpack had melted and boot pen was to the ground through an isothermal snowpack. We rode around on many low-angle slopes near and above treeline, some deep, some thin, with no observed collapses.
Rollerballs and small natural wet loose activity developed around mid-day.Weather

Numerous D1 wet loose avalanches in both forecast zones, near and above treeline on east to south aspects involving just the recent storm snow. West aspects were still warming up by the time we exited. We had good views of a lot of terrain and didn't see any new persistent slab activity from last week's storm and east wind event.
