Quick report

After a quick hand shear test, with a lot of force, a foot deep wind slab on SE aspect sheared off in a planar block. Noticed active snow transport with NW winds gusting 50 mph. Clear day with high winds

Snowpack

Signs of wind slab from the past few days. Seems hard to trigger but 12’ deep and very solid and planar. Slab on top of graupel that is in it’s rounding process.
