I hiked to the beaver ponds on Broads Monday afternoon. Once there I could see the remnants of the avys reported earlier last week. There were also smaller avalanches noted on diving board and also adjacent to Bonkers on the cliff bands to its north. Other wet release activity was evident on the west facing slopes above the beaver ponds as well.
Skiers had hit Bonkers as it was heavily tracked for sure. Ski lines were noted higher than I've seen this year so far (see pics).
The snow surface was definitely damp to wet from the bridge on up. Better snow was found in the pines and northerly facing terrain.
