Quick report
Over the past five days, the temperature has not dipped below freezing at the Castle Lake weather station. Nearly all snow surfaces are very saturated except for hard to find windy and shaded areas that has allowed for a slight crust formation. We observed isolated areas of roller balls and a few partial cornice collapses occurring below and near the treeline on W-N-E aspects. Ski conditions were wet and sticky and may be hazardous as you can go from full speed to full stop without notice.
