Quick report
For those looking for a mellow day - skied up Green Butte and a little ways beyond above treeline. Did not see any concerning indications of unstable snow pack along the route despite a very warm day. One roller ball on the way down. There was some windswept snow at the top but still a thin layer there had softened up nicely on top of a firm crust. Stayed in low risk terrain due to solo excursion. There is still skiable snow all the way to the parking lot at Bunny Flat though some patches of exposed earth occasionally down lower.
