- <p>No major whomphs or collapses noted in our travels today (ie, triggering the PWL).</p> <p>We were able to get cracking and trigger and small 8”. Deep, 10ft wide avalanche of wind drifted snow on a test slope along the mill d north summer hiking trail. </p>
Snowpack

- <p>Small hand pits on the shady side of the compass revealed the weak sugary snow that is still lurking in the basement. I suspect the walls came unglued on many slopes today as the PWL was being testing by some wicked wind loads. </p> <p>The wind was honking and clearing striping and loading without discrimination today. Plenty of snow available for transport from the storm over the past couple days. Several days of strong winds have all but scoured exposed slopes.</p>
