Quick report
Stomped on some test slopes on the creek bottom by the road, and did some shallow hand pits on the tour up, no reaction. Dug a 135cm pit at 4200ft, northeast aspect, 27 degree slope, ectn22 (no propagation) at 45 cm above ground on the top of the depth hoar. Depth hoar was showing signs of rounding, was under around 80cm of pretty consolidated slab , had varying depths of snow from 60-135cm. Snow surfaces were soft with some refreezing in old tracks.
Temps were around freezing today with overcast skies. By 1700, we were experiencing light precip. This turned to S1 as temps dipped to 31*F on our way out of the field at 1730.
