Quick report

Surface was locked up in the morning after a strong overnight refreeze Saturday into Sunday. Gusty southeast winds at the summit kept surface and ESE to NE aspects firm despite warm temperatures and clear, sunny conditions. Wind protected S/SW aspects softened to corn-like conditions around 10:45 AM and provided fun, mellow skiing. By 12:30 pm boot penetration on wind-protected SW aspects was shin deep below 6500 feet.
