Toured in towards Horsehead peak via the summer road and rode a SE aspect off the NW shoulder of Horsehead peak. Good corn was found from a solid refreeze overnight but was quickly turning to masehd potates around 11am. Still really good coverage on all aspects, even at lower eleavtions. The gate for the summer road is still buried under the snow.
Noticed two skier triggered wet avalanches on the NE chute of Horsehead Peak, that appear to have occured on 4/8. These appear to have failed on the bed surface where the previous avalanche occured on 3/25 and contained the new 4-6" of snow.
