Observation: Moab

Did not travel above tree line. Some places were just dust on crust, others had blown in nicely. Firm crusts underneath were supportive but made for awkward riding where previous tracks existed. Loose facets below 2-4" crusts but I never punched through. Trees were Rimed and it appeared as if there were surface hoar feather crystals which had rimed as well.
