-
The winds will be something to pay attention to especially as the next set of storms (with more snow and wind) move through the area.

Reynolds, east face, gets a little skier compaction.
With increased snow and wind forecasted for tomorrow I would anticipate the danger to move from moderate to considerable.
Snowpack
The new snow has started to settle allowing for fun easy turning. No cracking of collapsing today- although I was only in areas that have seen heavy travel this season. Trail breaking was easy and snow was supportable. The northerly aspects skied great, even when crossing old tracks. I was skeptical about how conditions would be on the east face (bowl). I anticipated a crust or hardened old tracks. Again, to my surprise, it skied like a dream! Finally!
The winds were demonstrating their power along the ridge. A small NE facing cornice had formed on the peak and my first skin track was filling in when I made my second lap.
