Quick report
Against my better judgement I took the layup into the den of alder. Dug one pit on NE aspect at 6600’, depth of 105 cm, thick crust 55 cm down, another thinner crust 15 cm down. Did find the rain crust all the way up to my high point of 7100’. Some breakable wind board on open aspects with Easterly tilt. Saw some old point releases D1 on steep alpine faces otherwise nothing else visible.
