Toured up to loveland glacier around two thousand feet I popped off 2 small 6' wide windslabs on a steep isolated wind loaded south facing aspect. Snow was firm wind affected wind crusts and dense snow on certain exposed ridgelines. The vast majority of aspects held loose powder and high quality skiing. About 10-15cm centimeters of ski penetration. Large surface hoar crystals on the glacier, but did not notice them below glacial elevation.
