Gorge "Happy Valley"

Observed 15-20 cm new or transported snow. Extended column on W aspect showed easy shift of top 20 though not a pop. Old crust at 50cm. Week layer at 60-65. Difficult to get release of these layers, though they did shift. Observed settling around base of trees at ridge top ~1900. Surface hoar present all day.
