Meadow skipping day at canyon Creek. Quick snow profile at 1550m in a wetland showed unsurprisingly (Babine mountains being a continental snowpack and in sheltered cold air drainage wetlands) a 1.2m total depth with 20cm of basal depth hoar to 5mm, and prominent buried surface hoar layers at 50 cm, 80cm (Dec 23 surface) and 115 cm. Everything below the Dec 23 surface was very faceted.
