We lucked out at Morfee with a combination of great visibility, good snow coverage and only light winds. The riding was firm with a couple cm of soft snow at the surface. We were able to travel across the ridge to the second cabin and main riding area. It was a warm, cloudy day and the surface snow was moist up to at least Treeline. We could see signs that the snow had been redistributed by winds but wind slabs were not reactive in our tests. Overall it was a low avalanche hazard, great spring day where
we could sled far and ride bigger features.
