Quick Observation

Ski cuts produced multiple sz1 storm/wind slabs 10-15cm deep confined to terrain features with minimal propagation. This was seen both below ridgetop (wind) and mid-slope (storm?). Some more significant/deeper wind slabs noted in specific areas below ridgeline were avoided. Slabs were low energy and sluggish, but maybe just enough force to move you around in extremely steep terrain if unexpected... Cornices may be prone to failure being freshly re-built over the Nov23-26CR. Forecasted cold temps over the next couple days may make them quite brittle and easily triggered. Also observed significant snow transport from N-NW winds on high alpine peaks within view (see picture). Specific to high alpine features loading S-E aspects from what I saw.
