10-20cm powder overlies a crumbly crust from last week's warm weather. New snow was forming a soft slab in wind affected areas and we got an easy compression test result, sudden collapse at the interface of the new snow and crust at 1050m on a steep east facing roll. 1 large whumpf also observed on what used to be depth hoar and is now low density rounded crystals. All layers below the crust remain moist.
