Whyte/Niblock Col

Great travel, old tracks were mainly covered on the approach, thin crust up to the road, in the woods it softer, soft snow all the way to the Col.

-4 degrees in the Alpine and 4 degrees back at the road. Received minimal connective flurries between 1:30-2:00.

Variable HS to 280cm. On the glacier probing mainly 50-100cm but deeper skiers right. A couple of thick, dense layers seem to be bridging the basal facets/depth hoar on the glacier ice. Far right on moraine descent (East aspect) experienced some whumpfing.
