Skied Canmore Couloir today. There were several other parties out as well and the couloir is quite tracked out. Snow surfaces ranged from breakable wind crust to rock hard wind slab with dust on top. Difficult skiing pretty much top to bottom. We opted to avoid the rappel and skied the skiers right trees. Snow pack lower down in the trees was probably only about 30 cm on top of bushes and rocks. Spicy times! As you can see in the photos there are 2 size 1 wind slab avalanches of unknown age in the bowl below the couloir. We knocked off some stuffs and a couple small slabs but saw no propagation or whumfing/cracking.
