Goats Eye

<p>Poked around up to goats eye. HS was 120 at 2000m. Lots of wind travel up at the eye and most of the snow in the alpine had been wind scoured. We decided to only go up to the obvious strip of trees at tree line. Started hearing whomping at 1910. After some more loud whomps we decided the mountain didn’t want us up there and we backed off. Skiing down you could feel the snow starting to stiffen and slab up. </p>
