Sick November day enjoying well preserved powder. Good early season coverage all the way down to 1700m. Minimal recent wind effect at ridgetop. Older wind loading on N-NE aspects. No sign of avalanche. Dug a pit at 1975m on a S aspect close to rigdetop in burnt forest for good measure looking for the state of the sun crust. HS: 150cm. Overall great looking right side up snowpack going from F to 4F hardness in the top 50cm all the way to 1F+ at the ground. The thin sun crust down 25cm produced 1 moderate (SP) result and 1 moderate (RP). No results on the melt freeze crust down 90cm.
