Powder king peak

<p>We experienced whumphing while touring up towards the peak to dig our snow pit we had a few layers of concern and stuck to mellow terrain </p>

<p>The day got foggy later into the afternoon </p>

Mellow slopes.

Steep slopes, Convex slopes.

30cm + of new snow, or significant drifting, or rain in the last 48 hours.

Whumpfing or drum-like sounds or shooting cracks.

Wind affected, Powder.

Warm, Foggy.
