-
No red flags observed.

Some nice early season snow conditions with the current snow pack having a little base and support keeping you off the ground. If I can get the sled on edge this time of year the conditions are pretty decent, just need to watch for the rocks and logs.
A few pictures of the north side of Murdock Peak where some folks like to visit early season. Recent winds have started to fill in the terrain and there is surely enough snow to avalanche. I did observe an old debris pile from a natural avalanche that started high on the ridge line, likely from strong winds early this week.

-
Generally normal caution moving around the Bald Mt. and Murdock Peak area today, the hazard being rocks and stumps that still need more snow to bury them. Possibly a very isolated chance of finding an old wind drift that might crack out if a person started to poke around along the high ridge lines.

A nice 2 inches from yesterdays early morning weather system that moved over the higher terrain. Quite nice snow conditions today with settled dense snow and the snow pack has a decent base allowing for easy travel, but still watching out for rocks and stumps.
