Blueberry squared

Overall the snowpack in this area looked pretty good! HS160 showed a lot of layers with dense rounded grains ranging from 0.5-1.0mm with a pencil resistance. However, there were a couple layers of concern, a surface hoar layer with graupel mixed in had a CTH24 SC down 44 on SH 2-4. We did a deep tap test to see if a facet layer was responsive. DTH24 SC down 79 on facet 1.0. On this facet layer we observed surface hoar as well. A second CT test replicated similar results. The snowpit was an E aspect, 2110m, 30degree incline, sw light wind gusting moderate, -7 air temp, broken sky.
