Wx -6C in the parking lot at 10am with valley fog and light W winds and warm air inversion above. Calm, sunny and -1C at 1pm at 2300m. Compression test at 2335m, NW aspect, 25 degree slope gave hard (23) resistant planar down 25cm in the recent storm snow, and a hard sudden collapse on facets down 55cm. HS was 135cm. Fast skiing in styro-pow with 15cm ski pen and the usual trap door surprises in rocky and shrubby areas
