Quick Observation

AST class, braaaped in the Bryant Lake area. Nuff said about last week's wind, but approx 10cm of nice new snow overlay sastrugi, bullet proof wind slab and other nasties. No signs of instability observed when travelling or when digging. New 1mm surface hoar was widespread below ridge top, and a moderate north wind was moving snow along the ridges later in the afternoon. Still some decent riding to be had in sheltered areas.

Avalanche Information

Unsure of the date, but parts of the crown had filled it. Feature is on the north side of the mouse trap heading up to Bryant lake. See pic

Weather

Increasing clouds in the pm with a moderate north wind starting late afternoon and transporting some snow along the ridgelines
