First photo is a small sz 0.5 natural slab avalanche we encountered at tree line. We stopped our ascent at tree line, but a solo skier passed us and kept going up into the alpine. When we got to our transition zone after a mellow run in the trees, we looked back up and saw two avalanches, probably sz 1-1.5, so we went back up the same way to see if the lone skier was OK. We could clearly see his skin track and his ski tracks coming down about 100m from the lookers left slide, so he safely skied away from this one. The slide evidently propagated to lookers right to trigger the second one. We didn’t head up to inspect but from afar the slope looked very thinly covered and it’s likely it slid on the basal facets.
