"Powder" at Pedley Pass

Surprisingly good skiing to be had today. Transition from more recent snow to facets was fairly consistent, resulting in reasonably predictable turns. We opted for the first opening skiers left from the skin track. No propogation or large releases, but sluff did run out a substantial distance once it has some mass behind it. It appeared to be running on the January drought crust / transition to facets, down about 30cm. Another group had dropped over the far side, they reported wind effected snow at the top, followed by good snowboarding.
