Just under 11,000 feet was about 75 centimeters of new snow sitting on a layer of weak snow. So we dug on a N facing slope at 10,500 feet in almost the same location as last Thursday. There's 75 centimeters of new snow sitting on the weak layers at the lower part of the snowpack. The new slab that's developed since last Thursday. Sitting on the weak layer of facets. It's about two feet plus of new settled snow. The foot from last Thursday is compressed down and settled to about 8 inches deep now. Still sitting on a weak layer of facets, but seems like way more of a stable snowpack, at least so far.
