-15 at the car and well above freezing in the sun at the base of the route. While we were getting tied in and hypothesizing about how well attached some of the icicles were, a medium (think motorcycle) sized icicle detatched from the top of the wall and wiped out the first two pitches. We didn't stick around to see if the other hanging ice nearby would make it through the day.
