Weather was warm and the snow was very sun affected. Heavy and sticky snow with some pinwheeling occurring naturally.
Snow conditions were: Crusty, Heavy, Wet, Wind affected. Weather conditions were: Sunny, Warm. We rode: Mellow slopes, Open trees, Sunny slopes. We avoided: Alpine slopes. Riding quality was ok.
Avalache Conditions: Rapid temperature rise to near zero degrees or wet surface snow.
