Went up into the Tantalus yesterday (by foot) for a "day" trip. Put skis on at 1000m, little to no avalanche activity other than small solar point releases. Conditions were windy and cool at 1800m, 30 cms of new snow from last storm up high. Some cornice debris noted. Ski quality was a little heavy and catchy but still decent. Some creeks now open (last weeks atmospheric river). Scenery was second to none.
