Here is a more pedestrian ob after the pics of all the impressive avalanches! In a North facing pit at 9,000. HS 80cm. (range 75cm-88cm in the pit). Rain/Temp crust present - about 2cm thick. Poorly bonded. ECT Propagation on the facets above the early season crust. Approximately 35cm down from the surface of the snow.
