Quick report
While doing a ski cut of a small pocket at 9200 East facing on 4 Pines it caused wide propagation below the cliff bands of the nose and dead tree chute. The snow under my feet never cracked and was not part of the avalanche but caused a sizable avalanche. 25-30 cm was the crown depth. I was unable to investigate the bed surface due to a party of 3 skiers that would not stop skiing on top of us. Another guide behind them did a quick beacon search of the debris pile.
