Obvious signs of wind loading on the up track. In most cases, when poking the snow, there was 6-8” of wind slab on either the ground or most cases on 1-2” of a frozen layer that is sitting on top of our weak facet layer.
Dug a pit just to see how reactive it was and not surprised at the results: ECT N 5
Did not see or hear any signs of instability, but would be cautious of that slab sitting on top of such a weak layer.
