Saw a ton of older natural avalanches from the last storm in our travels up Major Evans gulch today, but this one in the Icefall of Red Baldy really takes the cake. The original crown started within 50 feet of the summit, and the slide propagated wide with tons of smaller crowns visible on the slopes adjacent to icefall. Very impressive debris pile.
