Walked up to the Reynolds Flat around 10:15am, noting one fresh track down the skiers' right shot. Older tracks ran through the gut of the east face of Reynolds. About 30 minutes later, our party gained the ridge and noticed a pocket had been triggered by a ski cut, which took out the previous track and ran nearly to the bench. Slope angle was about 37 at the crown and failed at the interface between the new snow and facets. Had the previous skier or rider triggered this down on top of themselves, they might not have been buried but it would've definitely gotten their attention. Definitely near-miss territory.
