Quick report
We toured on Benzene alley up to1600ft on a Northwest aspect. We witnessed slides off the west side of sugarloaf and saw a large debris field from a slide off the north side of Benzene. We observed many avalanches today and from the past 48 hours, on all aspects. Above 1000ft the rain turned to snow. We found dry snow on the top 7cm with moist melt forms below that and melt freeze crusts below. On small test slopes we could push the top 30cm and it would run on the melt freeze crusts below. ECT 22 down 30cm in dryer snow above the crust.
