One D1 human-triggered windslab was observed on an SE aspect at about 3800 feet on the route to Girls Moutain. No other recent/significant activity was observed.

Sunny with relatively cool temperatures. Isolated N/NE winds were redistributing snow on several high peaks and ridges as well as the south side of Thompson pass. Clouds moving in from the South and clear conditions to the North.
Snowpack
Throughout Thompson Pass the snow surface was wind-affected to various degrees in most drainages. Currently, moderate N winds at isolated high peaks/ridges were blowing snow creating fresh wind slabs in some areas. Blowing snow was observed on Goodwills, Girls, Bro Bowl, Keystone Canyon, and Peaks above town. Recent surface hoar (1-2mm) development was easily observed at road level (on the pass) and continued up to 3500 ft+. Snow surfaces in the immediate area traveled were not wind-affected. S and SW aspects had a couple of recently formed sun crusts under a thin layer of surface snow. These 2cm sun crusts had a thin (2cm) layer of dry snow sandwiched in between them creating a poor structure for supporting future snowfall. Snowpit tests produce minimal notable results. The only reactivity was: ECTN15 BRK down 30cm below the most recent snow. Below this, a well-consolidated snowpack with a good structure was found.
